The Concussion Legacy Foundation Canada (CLFC) hosts a news conference in Ottawa with Shane Nedohin, a retired Canadian Forces officer living with traumatic brain injuries whose claim for medical support was denied by Veterans Affairs Canada. The CLFC is calling for a reassessment of federal policy regarding blast-induced brain injuries.

Also speaking with reporters are CLFC representatives Tim Fleiszer (executive director) and Samantha Bureau (senior director of international research), as well as Major General (Ret’d) Denis Thompson, former commander of Canadian Special Operations Forces.
