Culture is not a Costume: Exploring Cultural Appropriation on Halloween

The scariest part of the spooky season could be the abuse and appropriation of different cultures for a costume.

As part of the Intercultural Learning Speakers Series, Amna Qazi and Alicia Ashcroft (she/her) will facilitate Culture is not a Costume: Exploring Cultural Appropriation on Halloween.

Attendees will learn how to exercise cultural sensitivity and contribute to an environment where we can all feel safe, supported and at ease expressing our identities.
