It’s Apples for the Environment at Fratelli Foods in Downtown Kamloops

Kamloops, BC – Fratelli Foods is partnering with the BC Interior Community Foundation (BCICF) to help support vital environmental initiatives through the Environmental Impact Fund. From October 10 to 18, for every 5 lb box of Ambrosia apples purchased, $10 will be donated to the endowed Environmental Impact Fund held at BCICF.

Fratelli Foods is contributing $5 from every box of apples, and an anonymous donor has pledged to match their donation—meaning 100% of the purchase price will go directly towards protecting the environment and supporting ecosystem recovery efforts.

The Environmental Impact Fund, established by a concerned citizen in 2022, focuses on addressing environmental damage, supporting wildlife, and helping communities impacted by ecological incidents. Every dollar donated helps create a lasting impact, as donations are invested to generate ongoing support for these crucial initiatives.

“By purchasing a box of Ambrosia apples, you’re not only getting fresh, delicious fruit but also helping to preserve and protect our planet for future generations,” said BCICF executive director Wenda Noonan. “This partnership with Fratelli Foods is a wonderful way for the community to come together and make a meaningful difference.”

Don’t miss this chance to enjoy premium apples while contributing to a cause that will have lasting effects. Head to Fratelli Foods in downtown Kamloops from October 10 to 18 and make your purchase count for the environment
