Canada announces more humanitarian aid for Lebanon – October 9, 2024

In Ottawa, International Development Minister Ahmed Hussen announces the federal government is providing an additional $15 million in humanitarian assistance for Lebanon to support civilians affected by the Israel-Hezbollah conflict. This announcement brings Canada’s total humanitarian funding for Lebanon this year to more than $56 million.
