Launch of new federal compensation hub for oil spill victims – October 8, 2024

In Ottawa, representatives from two federal compensation funds hold a news conference to announce the launch of a new hub for helping victims of oil spills.

Speaking with reporters are Mark Gauthier, administrator of the Ship-source Oil Pollution Fund and the Fund for Railway Accidents Involving Designated Goods, and Steve Anderson, deputy administrator of the latter fund.
