Paul Kershaw, founder of the non-profit organization Generation Squeeze, holds a virtual news conference to discuss the Bloc Québécois’ recent push to increase seniors’ benefits.

Bloc Leader Yves-François Blanchet put forward a motion in the House of Commons earlier this week calling on the government to support Bill C-319, the Bloc private member’s bill to hike Old Age Security payments. The motion passed with the help of the Conservatives, NDP, Greens, and a small number of Liberals.
