Federal officials provide update on efforts to replace Phoenix pay system – October 2, 2024

In Ottawa, representatives from Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) and the Treasury Board Secretariat provide an update on the government’s efforts to replace the problem-plagued Phoenix pay system for the federal public service. They also discuss the work underway to improve current HR and pay operations.

Speaking with reporters are Alex Benay, associate deputy minister at PSPC, and Francis Trudel, associate chief HR officer at the Treasury Board Secretariat.
