Signing ceremony for Inuit-led child and family services agreement – September 30, 2024

A ceremony is held in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, to mark the signing a coordination agreement between the federal government, the N.W.T. government and the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation that aims to support Inuit-led child and family services for Inuvialuit.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, N.W.T. Health Minister Lesa Semmler, and Inuvialuit Regional Corporation CEO Duane Ningaqsiq Smith are among those in attendance at the ceremony.
