Toronto's Billy Bishop Airport marks progress in U.S. preclearance – September 27, 2024

At a media event in Toronto, representatives from the Canadian and U.S. governments highlight progress toward getting U.S. customs and border protection preclearance at the city’s Billy Bishop Airport.

Providing remarks are Anita Anand (federal transport minister), David Cohen (U.S. ambassador to Canada), RJ Steenstra (president and CEO of PortsToronto), Neil Pakey (president and CEO of Nieuport Aviation), Sandra Pupatello (chair of PortsToronto), and Robert Silvers (under secretary for policy at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security).
