Humanitarian groups call for day of mourning for Palestinian victims of war – September 27, 2024

In Ottawa, a coalition of medical, humanitarian and advocacy groups call for a day of mourning for what they say are the Palestinian victims of Israeli war crimes.

Speaking on behalf of the coalition are Samar Odeh, president of the University of Ottawa’s Palestinian Students Association and an advocacy officer with Justice for All Canada, Hakima Moktary, a social worker, and Israa Alsaafin, a Palestinian Canadian.
