Survival of minority govt, alleged homophobic comments – September 26, 2024

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons. Health Minister Mark Holland and Bloc Québécois MP Rhéal Fortin respond to questions on the survival of the minority Parliament. The Bloc Québécois has demanded the “irreversible implementation” by October 29 of Bloc private members bills C-319 (Old Age Security) and C-282 (supply management) to prevent the defeat of the Liberal minority government.
