Affaire Michael Kovrig : quelles leçons le Canada peut-il en tirer? – 26 septembre 2024

Le Canadien Michael Kovrig, détenu illégalement en Chine durant 33 mois, est sorti de son mutisme et a accordé cette semaine une entrevue à la CBC. Il y a notamment affirmé que le Canada n’était pas préparé à faire face aux conséquences de l’arrestation de Meng Wanzhou.

Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance discute des enseignements que le Canada pourrait tirer de cette affaire avec l’ex-ambassadeur Ferry de Kerckhove. Ils abordent également les conflits dans lequel l’état d’Israël est impliqué face au Hezbollah et Gaza.
