Députés : Licenciements chez Northvolt, motion de censure – 24 septembre 2024

Sur la Colline du Parlement, des députés s’entretiennent avec des journalistes lors de la période de questions quotidienne à la Chambre des communes. Le ministre de l’Innovation, François-Philippe Champagne, fait face à des questions sur la décision du fabricant de batteries Northvolt de mettre à pied 1 600 employés en Suède et sur l’impact que cela pourrait avoir sur les plans de l’entreprise pour sa future usine au Québec. Le député du Bloc Québécois Rhéal Éloi Fortin, le député néo-démocrate Alexandre Boulerice, le député libéral Wayne Long et M. Champagne commentent la motion de censure déposée par les conservateurs plus tôt dans la journée à la Chambre des communes. Le ministre du Travail, Steven MacKinnon, répond aux questions sur la grève des travailleurs du terminal céréalier du port de Vancouver.
