Innovation Minister François-Philippe Champagne faces questions on battery manufacturer Northvolt’s decision to lay off 1,600 employees in Sweden and the impact it may have on the company’s plans for its future plant in Quebec. Conservative Deputy Leader Melissa Lantsman reacts to Immigration Minister Marc Miller’s recent comments on Canada’s international student visa program being used as a “backdoor entry” into the country. Liberal MP Salma Zahid comments on the NDP’s calls for Canada to recognize Palestinian statehood.
