Conflit Israël-Hezbollah : le Canada peut-il intervenir? – 23 septembre 2024

Le conflit qui oppose Israël au Hezbollah libanais continue d’embraser les régions du sud et de l’est du Liban. De nouveaux bombardements israéliens ont fait au moins 350 morts, dont 21 enfants, et des milliers de déplacés. Dans la foulée de cette nouvelle escalade au Moyen-Orient, le NPD a appelé Ottawa à reconnaître un état palestinien. La ministre des Affaires étrangères, Mélanie Joly, a réitéré pour sa part que le Canada reconnaitrait un état palestinien au bon moment.

Notre animatrice Omayra Issa traite de la position canadienne dans ce conflit avec l’ambassadeur du Canada aux Nations Unies, Bob Rae.
