Heat Spoil Home Opener With 3-1 Win

The Chase Heat returned the favour on Saturday night in Kamloops as the visitors spoiled the host Storm home opener with a 3-1 win avenging a 4-0 loss the night before in Chase. Brenner Fyfe stopped 28 of 31 shots while Riddick Feeley scored the lone Kamloops goal in the third period which gave the hometown crowd hope late in the game. The Storm pressed but could not close the gap any further. Chase was 0 for 5 on their power play while the locals were 0 for 1 with the man advantage.
