On Parliament Hill in Ottawa, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh addresses his party’s caucus. He is joined by Leila Dance (Elmwood–Transcona, Man.,) and Craig Sauvé (LaSalle–Émard–Verdun, Que.), the New Democratic Party candidates in the September 16, 2024, federal by-elections. Dance won her Winnipeg-area riding, retaining for the NDP a constituency that was previously represented by Daniel Blaikie.
