MPs on possible non-confidence motion, Pablo Rodriguez’s political future – September 18, 2024

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons. They respond to questions on Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s plan to introduce a non-confidence motion in the House of Commons next week, reports that Transport Minister Pablo Rodriguez will resign from cabinet to run for leader of the Quebec Liberal party, and on the safety of MPs in the Parliamentary Precinct.
