NDP MLA Melanie Mark says new infrastructure funding a boost for community services

Kevin Falcon continues hard right turn with pro-Trump campaign manager

July 11, 2024 at 11:01 am  Politics, Provincial

Kevin Falcon’s new campaign manager, Mark Werner, is a Trump supporter with ties to America’s far right.

CKNW’s Jas Johal posted pictures this morning of Werner posing with Donald Trump Jr, a leading figure in the election denialist and anti-abortion campaign. Werner also has photos posing in Trump 2020 merchandise and attending his speech at an NRA convention.

This continues Falcon’s effort to push his party further to the right:

Aman Singh, B.C. NDP MLA:

“By hiring a pro-Trump activist as his most senior advisor, Kevin Falcon is continuing to pander to the far right, out of step with most people’s values. British Columbians don’t want Trump’s hateful and divisive politics in our province, they want leaders who will stand up to it and fight to keep it south of the border.”
