Kamloops Thompson Retired Teachers’ Club – TRU Newsroom

Thank you to members of the Kamloops Thompson Retired Teachers’ Club. Their bursary, made possible through the Kamloops Thompson Retired Teachers’ Endowment, has been providing financial support to students for 30 years. Each year, generous members of the Kamloops Thompson Retired Teachers’ Association make donations to continue building their endowment, which provides two annual bursaries to students enrolled in first year Bachelor of Education at Thompson Rivers University who show commitment and demonstrate financial need. To date, 51 students have received the bursary. Pictured left to right: Bev Maxwell, Pat Petley, Marney Bethell and Glenda Miles, who are all part of the club’s executive team.
