Signing of a historic coordination agreement related to First Nations children and families between Cowichan Tribes, Canada, and British Columbia

Cowichan Tribes, British Columbia — Please be advised that Chief Cindy Daniels of the Cowichan Tribes, the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services, and the Honourable Grace Lore, British Columbia’s Minister of Children and Family Development, will participate in a signing ceremony and celebration of a historic coordination agreement to affirm and restore jurisdiction over children and families to the Cowichan Tribes, British Columbia’s largest First Nation community by population.
