The family of Chelsea Lewis are hosting a memorial ATV ride on June 1 and 2 to raise more funds in support of women in trades. This is the second annual memorial ride in Chelsea’s honour to celebrate the young woman’s passion for adventure. Chelsea died in an ATV crash on August 7, 2022. She was 17 years old at the time of her death. Chelsea’s family started a bursary in her memory in 2023 for women entering a trades program at TRU Williams Lake. This year, a $2,000 bursary will be awarded to a student in Chelsea’s honour. Read more
