Road Closures in Effect This Weekend: April 26 – April 28, 2024

Multiple road closures will be in effect this weekend as downtown gears up for the kick-off to event season and the start of a major construction project. These road closures may affect your daily commute and parking situations. Check out the information below to know which routes will be affected.

Brewloops – April 27th from 5-10pm

The 400 block of Victoria Street will be closed for Brewloops beginning Friday, April 26th at 5:30pm until Sunday, April 28th at 10am.

CFJC-TV Boogie the Bridge – April 28th from 7am-12pm

Various routes through downtown will be closed for the 27th Annual CFJC-TV Boogie the Bridge.

Road Closures:
● Victoria St. between 2nd Ave. and 4th Ave.
● 3rd Ave. between Seymour St. and Victoria St.
● 2nd Ave. between Seymour St. and Victoria St.
● 1st Ave. between Seymour St. and Victoria St.
● Larch Ave., Baker St. and Fort Ave. will be closed to all traffic at Fortune Drive
between 7:30am to approximately 12:30pm.
Affected Lanes:
● Seymour St., (heading East, Northside curb lane) between Victoria St. West
towards 2nd Ave.
● Victoria St. West (heading East, Southside lane) between Seymour St. and
Overlanders Bridge access.
● Victoria St. West (heading West, Northside lane) between South end of
Overlands Bridge and Seymour St.
● Middle Northbound and Southbound lanes over the Overlanders Bridge

Where possible, please use the Halston Bridge instead of Overlanders Bridge until
approximately 12:30pm on April 28, 2024

If you can’t use the Halston Bridge, access to the NorthShore from downtown will be
available via Victoria St. W. westbound to Mission Flats Rd, via Victoria St. W
eastbound, to the Overlanders Bridge, to the Tranquille Corridor overpass.
