The TRU Library Makerspace and TRU Sustainability Office are delighted to announce a partnership to help celebrate Earth Day with a special vegetable planting event open to all members of the campus community.

Date: Monday, April 22

Time: noon – 3 p.m.

Location: Basketball courts, Old Main (if the weather is unpleasant, it will be held on Student Street)

Experience the joy of planting with the four core essentials for growing vegetables: earth, seeds, planter pots and expert advice.

There will be a variety of planter pot sizes and vegetable seed packages to choose from, along with TRU faculty and staff experts present to answer any questions you might have to successfully grow your own vegetables.

Paper bags will also be provided to help you transport your plant to its new home.

Thank you to Stantec for sponsoring this event.
