If the weather is hot and dry this summer, wildfire concerns extend to all of BC, including the normally wetter and cooler Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley regions.“Typically, fires are an Interior problem, not a coastal problem,” says wildfire expert Dr. Mike Flannigan. “But as we continue to warm and dry, it will become a coastal problem.” Read more
