NDP wishes those celebrating a happy Holi « Canada’s NDP

Canada’s NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, made the following statement:

“On behalf of Canada’s New Democrats, I wish all of those celebrating, a joyous Holi.

This week, across Canada and around the world, Hindu communities will mark the end of winter and beginning of spring with the Festival of Colours.

This Holi, let us reflect on the importance of friendship and hope, as well as on the contributions of Canadians of the Hindu faith. Holi is a time of renewal and optimism and an opportunity to celebrate peace and forgiveness.

To family and friends gathering to celebrate the Festival of Colours, New Democrats wish you all a peaceful and happy Holi!”
