NDP statement on the occasion of Nowruz 2024 « Canada’s NDP

Canada’s NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh made the following statement:

“Today, we join all Canadians celebrating Nowruz, the welcoming of spring and the New Year in the Persian calendar.
This holiday marks the coming of spring and promotes the values of peace, solidarity, and reconciliation.
To all the families and friends who are coming together on this day, New Democrats wish you peace, health and prosperity in the New Year.
Nowruz Mobarak!”
