Storm Give Up Five Straight Goals, Drop Game 1 Of Birks Division Final

REVELSTOKE, BC—It was a great start but a rocky finish for the Kamloops Storm in game one of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League Birks Division Final.

But then it was all Revelstoke.

Coventry has five playoff goals. Brady Schwab (Snohomish, WA) and Daniel Wittenberg (Calgary, AB) had the other third period markers for the Grizzlies.
Revelstoke outshot Kamloops 57-44 including 21-14 in the second period. The Storm was 0-8 on the power play while Revelstoke was 1-5. Jozef Kuchaslo (Mission, BC) was in the nets for Revy while Colton Phillips-Watts (Quesnel, BC) tended the twine for Kamloops.
