Coyote brings the food: Healing the land while healing from the land
Join the All My Relations Research Centre for a two-day conference and launch of the volume eight Knowledge Makers journal in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. This partnership aims to empower Indigenous women through research and knowledge creation, focusing on food sovereignty and climate resilience. It aims to elevate Indigenous women’s knowledge and increase their influence in decision-making processes.
We are proudly hosting six global Indigenous Knowledge Makers at TRU’s campus, celebrating their contributions to food sovereignty and climate resilience. The event includes the launch of a collaborative edition of their work, as well as opportunities for knowledge-sharing, networking and community festivities.
We would greatly appreciate your presence at this opportunity to participate in Indigenous climate and food-based research. This event offers direct connections with Indigenous leaders and non-profits working for sustainable futures and is open to the public at no cost. Get more details and registration links.
