February 16, 2024 at 1:56 pm  Education, Kamloops, News

Mark your calendar for Friday, March 1!

Invite your besties and dress in your best Barbiecore for a screening of Barbie at the Kamloops Film Festival.

The pre-show mingle starts at 4:30 p.m., and the film starts at 6 p.m., followed by the After Barbie – an informal discussion about the film’s cultural impact and critical responses.

KFF hosts an annual “Film for a Cause,” an event featuring some worthy causes in the community.

This year honours the amazing and essential organizations that support women in the Kamloops region: TRU’s Sexualized Violence Prevention and Response, the Y Women’s Shelter, and Kamloops Sexual Assault Counselling Centre in celebration of International Women’s Day.

Tickets are available here.
