This year’s TRUSU Common Voices Lecture Series features Dr. Roberta Bondar, Canada’s first female astronaut and the first neurologist in space!
Join us for a captivating evening with Dr Bondar as she speaks on Perspective Shift: Moving Beyond the Familiar to Reach for the Extraordinary.
The event will take place in the Grand Hall, Campus Activity Centre on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 7 p.m.
There is no cost to attend the event, but seating is limited so please arrive early to secure your spot.

The world’s first neurologist in space, Dr. Roberta Bondar is globally recognized for her pioneering contributions to space medicine research, fine art photography and environment education.
Aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery mission STS-42 in 1992, she conducted experiments for 18 countries in the first International Microgravity Laboratory, a precursor to the International Space Station.
