Knowledge Makers workshop – TRU Newsroom
Knowledge Makers Indigenous Undergraduate Research at TRU is calling for applicants!
This workshop is hosted on a weekend and provides students the opportunity to find a subject that is of importance to them, and their community.
With the support of an elder, Indigenous academic mentors and peers students will learn how to map out their research idea to begin the writing process.
Childcare is provided on site and we encourage students to show up as they are within this intergenerational Indigenous space.
After the completion of the workshop students will be paired with a faculty mentor who will assist in fully developing their ideas.
One-on-one writing support, citation guidance and support are also available with our dedicated, kind and experienced research team from first draft to completion.
Students receive $1000 upon completion of their final draft.
