National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Observed) – TRU Newsroom

TRU campuses and offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 2 to observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, as Sept. 30 falls on Saturday this year.
This day is an opportunity for Canadians to commemorate the history and ongoing trauma caused by residential schools and to honour those who were lost and the Survivors, families and communities who continue to grieve.
Campus flags will be flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset.
