We’re excited to bring you a dynamic and exciting online family event this Canada Day featuring readings, activities, and performances by the N’we Jinan Artists, David Cazares, Project X, Kamloops Symphony, N’we Jinan Artists, Gary Gottfriedson, Sim’ya Ukrainian Society Dancers, and by many other artists, performers, and passionate individuals.

The City of Kamloops acknowledges that recognizing Canada Day is difficult this year. We have taken our lead from Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, who ask that we use Canada Day as a day for education and reflection on the true history of Canada and have incorporated messaging into this year’s virtual Canada Day event that encourages education on Indigenous culture and heritage.
