Squats
This exercise is a progression to the sit to stand and will to keep improving your lower-body strength needed for daily activities such as stair climbing, walking, rising from a chair or car.
Start standing in front of sturdy chair with your feet at a comfortable width. Use your hands for support if you need, lower down and back pausing just above the chair, then reverse the motion, and return to a standing position.
