Shoulder Blade Squeeze

Shoulder Blade Squeeze

February 24, 2021 at 11:57 am  Kamloops, Municipal, Politics

This is a beginner exercise to strengthen the muscles involved in shoulder retraction, pulling your shoulder blades together towards your spine. These muscles play a role in our posture and as well are involved in pulling movements.

Sitting or standing in a comfortable position pull your shoulders back, squeezing your shoulder blades together. Hold the squeezed position for a short pause then return to the start position.
