Join us as we bring our communities together to celebrate the 33rd annual Parkinson SuperWalk! At Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC), we are inspired every day by the strength and resilience of our community. Together, we are united in our commitment to the advocacy, research, and fundraising efforts that are bringing us closer to a future without Parkinson’s disease.
We will be encouraging individuals across the province to walk on the weekend of September 9 and 10, while raising money for research and support services through individual pledges and corporate sponsorships. Proceeds from SuperWalk will enable the Society to invest in research and continue to provide essential programs and services to the 15,000 individuals and their families who live with Parkinson’s in BC.

About Riverside Park

Located on the banks of the Thompson River next to the Interior Savings Centre and just minutes from downtown. Enjoy a picnic in the picturesque park, stroll along the beach, go for a refreshing swim, bring the kids to the Variety Kids Centennial Water Park, or play a game of lawn bowling.
In 2009 the City of Kamloops installed a new integrated, accessible playground for children 2-12 years of age. The playground is an added attraction to an already impressive City park that offers something for everyone to enjoy.
Or just soak up the sun and watch the water skiers and wakeboarders do their routines. However you spend your day at Riverside, it is bound to be picture postcard perfect.
