InfoTel News | University students make documentary on Tranquille Sanitorium – TRU Newsroom

TRU students Kei Massalski and Carter Jahnke have produced an historical documentary on the former Tranquille Sanitorium site in Kamloops. Titled “City of Solace,” the project was filmed between September and early December of 2022. Dr. Tina Block, an associate professor of history at TRU, provides information about the site’s time as a sanitorium and then as a mental health institution. Read more
