Ontario Premier Doug Ford on Niagara rail service, COVID-19 advisory table – August 26, 2022

At a news conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario Premier Doug Ford announces that his government is reinstating year-round weekend GO Train service between the city and Toronto Union Station. The premier faces questions about the upcoming dissolution of the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table in September. Also taking part in the news conference are provincial ministers Caroline Mulroney (transportation) and Neil Lumsden (tourism, culture and sport), as well as Sam Oosterhoff (MPP for Niagara West), Jim Diodati (mayor of Niagara Falls), and Phil Verster (CEO of Metrolinx).
