Federal health minister announces funding for long-term care homes in Manitoba – August 25, 2022

In Winnipeg, Jean-Yves Duclos, the federal minister of health, announces the signing of the Safe Long-Term Care Fund agreement with Manitoba. Through the agreement, Manitoba is receiving more than $37 million in federal funding for long-term care facilities. The minister is joined by Audrey Gordon, his provincial counterpart, Kevin Lamoureux, the MP for Winnipeg North, and Roslyn Garofalo, the CEO of Fred Douglas Society.
