Alberta premier on expansion of Neurosciences ICU, UCP leadership race – May 31, 2022

In Edmonton, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney discusses investments from his government’s latest budget for the construction of a new neuroscience intensive care unit at the University of Alberta’s Brain Centre. He is joined by provincial ministers Jason Copping (health) and Prasad Panda (infrastructure), as well as Mauro Chies (interim president and CEO of Alberta Health Services) and Jodi Abbott (president and CEO of the University Hospital Foundation). The premier responds to questions about the race to succeed him as leader of the United Conservative and British Columbia’s move to decriminalize small amounts of hard drugs.
