B’nai Brith Canada releases latest audit on antisemitic incidents in Canada – April 25, 2022

In Ottawa, representatives from B’nai Brith Canada present findings from the group’s 2021 audit on antisemitic incidents in the country. Taking part in the news conference CEO Michael Mostyn, senior legal counsel David Matas, and national director for the League of Human Rights Marvin Rotrand, as well as MPs Anthony Housefather (Liberal), Melissa Lantsman (Conservative) and Randall Garrison (NDP). The latest audit notes a sixth straight year in which recorded antisemitic incidents in Canada increased substantially. There were 2,799 recorded incidents in 2021, an increase of 7.5% from the previous year.
