Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson makes a pre-budget announcement – April 6, 2022

In Winnipeg, Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson makes a pre-budget announcement to strengthen the provincial long-term care system. The government is committing over $15 million to implement the 17 recommendations of the Stevenson Review to enhance capacity at long-term care facilities throughout the province. She is joined by Scott Johnston (provincial minister of seniors and long-term care), David Driedger (CEO of HavenGroup), and Gina Trinidad (regional lead for continuing care and community health services with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority). Manitoba’s budget is set to be presented on April 12.
