Liberal MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as the federal party holds its weekly caucus meeting. Ministers Marie-Claude Bibeau (agriculture), Marco Mendicino (public safety), Mona Fortier (Treasury Board president), and Marc Miller (Crown-Indigenous relations) are asked about the their government’s upcoming April 7 federal budget. Mendicino and Fayçal El-Khoury face questions about Canada’s efforts to resettle Afghan refugees. Stéphane Lauzon, Joël Lightbound and John McKay respond to questions about a job posting from Université Laval that excludes white men.
