Conservative MP Garnett Genuis discusses his motion to promote bystander intervention awareness

Conservative MP Garnett Genuis speaks with reporters on Parliament Hill about his motion (M-57) aimed at promoting bystander awareness and training as tools to combat sexual violence, hate crimes, and other forms of violence. He is joined by Dominique Vien, deputy critic for women and gender equality and youth. The motion calls on the federal government to support the development of bystander intervention training courses, and to make this type of training available to public servants. (April 6, 2022)
