COVID-19 in B.C.: Vaccine card ending, fourth doses for 70+ and vulnerable groups– April 5, 2022

In Victoria, Dr. Bonnie Henry, British Columbia’s provincial health officer, and B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix provide an update on the COVID-19 situation in the province, including the latest modelling data and projections concerning the propagation of the coronavirus disease in the province. The province is ending its vaccine card program as of April 8. The vaccine requirement for post-secondary school students living in residences is also being lifted. B.C. is also providing fourth doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to seniors over 70 and other vulnerable groups such as long-term care residents.
