In Calgary, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney announces $15 million in funding for the province’s helicopter air ambulance service. He is joined by Jason Copping, provincial minister of health, R.J. Sigurdson, co-chair of the Alberta EMS Provincial Advisory Committee, and Andrea Robertson, president and CEO of the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service. The premier also faces questions from reporters about the decision to change his upcoming leadership review from in-person voting to mail-in ballot, the new supply-and-confidence agreement between the federal Liberal and New Democratic parties, and Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
