Les survivants des pensionnats pour Autochtones ont de gros besoins en matière de santé mentale. Pourtant, les psychologues autochtones sont encore peu nombreux au pays et, de manière générale, les approches occidentales de la psychologie ne sont pas adaptées à la culture autochtone.
