BLAZERS WIN 8-3 IN HOME OPENER – Kamloops Blazers

Logan Stankoven led the way with two goals and two assists in a 8-3 win on home ice over the Prince George Cougars in the Blazers home opener.

Fraser Minten had two goals on the night and Dylan Sydor picked up three assists. Viktor Persson and Josh Pillar each picked up two assists on the night.

The Blazers were 2-for-6 on the power play and the Cougars finished 3-for-8. Dylan Garand earned the win with 32 saves on the night.

The Blazers had a ‘sell out’ crowd of 2957 which is 50% capacity due to Provincial Health Office restrictions.
