June 14, 2021 at 6:38 pm  Education, Kamloops, News

Join us for a Campus Trees Network Mixer and Discussion Session where you can connect with friends and promote the benefits of having trees on campus. We will discuss supportive programs and policies such as the development of a new national campus tree planting, care and preservation program.

Increase your awareness by learning of evidence related to the benefits of having trees on campus and the supportive policies and programs for enhancing tree biodiversity and health and learn about the pilot project for the proposed Canadian Campus Tree Program—Plant. Care. Preserve.

Members of the Canadian College and University Environment Network (CCUEN), regional sustainability and facilities networks, and the Northeast Campus Sustainability Consortium (NECSC) are cordially invited and—due to the virtual delivery of this event—any others who are interested.
